Work Description

  • Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
  • Pitch for products and offerings of a company to customers
  • Travel extensively to meet and interact with customers
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process dictated by the prospective customer

  • Resolve customers complaints by investigating into problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, making recommendations to management.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending to educational workshops and participating in professional societies.
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales
